He started his career at Scovill Mfg. Co., worked in the payroll department at Heritage Village for many years, and retired from Sikorsky.

OAKVILLE- Joseph J. Doran, Jr., 75, of Oakville, formerly of Waterbury, died Saturday, January 1, 2022, at Beacon Brook Health Care in Naugatuck. He was the husband of Rosalie (Moscariello) Doran.
Joe was born in Waterbury, July 13, 1946, son of the late Joseph and Anastasia (Shea) Doran. He was raised in Waterbury and graduated from Crosby High School. He started his career at Scovill Mfg. Co., worked in the payroll department at Heritage Village for many years, and retired from Sikorsky.
Joe enjoyed watching sports and playing golf. He was an avid NY Mets fan and coached the Heritage Village softball team for many years.
Besides his wife of 52 years, Joe is survived by his daughter, Irene Addona and her husband Domenico of Thomaston; his sister, Kathryn Doran of Naugatuck; and his grandpuppies, Sasha and Skyler.
Funeral services will be held at a later date.
