“Loving wife, mother and Grandma Jo”
Josephine (D’Amico) Rodrigues, age 75, of Naugatuck passed away peacefully Monday February 5, 2024 at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford. She was the beloved widow of Anthony J. Rodrigues.
Josephine was born July 17, 1948 in Waterbury the biological daughter of the late John and Josephine (Stanco) D’Amico and step daughter of Anna (Atteratta) D’Amico. She was a graduate of Wilby High School. Prior to her retirement in 2010 Josephine had worked in the business office at Franzus Co. She had also worked at Lewis Engineering and several other local businesses. Josephine enjoyed socializing with friends, loved music and traveling but found her greatest joy being surrounded by her family. She will be greatly missed by those who were blessed to know and love her.

She leaves her children Mark Rodrigues and his wife Kristen of Southington, Michelle Gasper and her husband James of Torrington, her beloved grandchildren Jonathan Gasper, Matthew Rodrigues and Addison Rodrigues and a host of extended family and close friends. She was predeceased by her grandson Jacob Gasper.
Arrangements: Funeral services for Josephine will be held on Saturday February 10 at 9:15 AM from Chase Parkway Memorial/Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. Burial will be private and at the convenience of her family in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours Friday February 9 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
