Obituary: Kenneth C. Padula, 81, of Wolcott

NAPLES, FL. – Kenneth C. Padula, 81, of Wolcott, passed away Monday, March 28, 2022 at his home in Naples, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Florence (Napolitano) Padula.

Mr. Padula was born March 29, 1940 in Waterbury, CT., son of the late John and Gertrude (Verrastro) Padula. He was a supervisor for the United States Postal Service.

In addition to his beloved wife, Mr. Padula leaves behind his daughters, Deborah Putnam of Wolcott, and Maria Arend of Naples, FL.; his son, David Padula, and his wife, Eve, of Walpole MA.; and his sister, Trudy (Padula) Robertson, and her husband, David. He will also be missed by his grandchildren, Nicole Putnam, Henry Arend, Caitlin Putnam, Brandon Arend, and Leah Padula and his great-grandchild, Saige Arend. In addition to his parents, Mr. Padula was predeceased by his brother, Maurice Padula.

Arrangements: Services for Mr. Padula will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at 11:00 A.M., at Calvary Baptist Church, 3000 North Main Street, Waterbury. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Friends may greet his family at the church, from 9:00 A.M. until the start of the service. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Waterbury, 496 Chase Avenue is assisting with arrangements. Memorial contributions, in his name, may be made to Calvary Baptist Church.
