NAUGATUCK, CT - Leo Forgét, a fellow veteran, and longtime resident of Waterbury, entered into eternal rest, peacefully on December 6, 2020 at Beacon Brook Health Center in Naugatuck.
Leo was born December 27, 1937. He was the loving husband of the late Cecilia Forgét and leaves behind many other loved ones. His children, Jennifer and Joseph Forgét of Waterbury. Leo Forgét III and his partner Jeff Roberts, Dennis Forgét Sr. and his wife Sharon, Johnny Forgét with his wife Christina, Steven Forgét Sr, and Judi Dougan of California. As well as his brother, David Forgét, brother of the late Diana Lago, many grand children, great grandchildren, his sister-in-law Carol Lokites, and his favorite dog Pilot.

Leo was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the United States from November 1956 - November 1958. He was a weekly church attendee at St. Leo the Great Church in Waterbury, CT. Leo was also a former OWYAA football and baseball coach for several years. Collecting rare coins and sports cards were a few of his hobbies. Leo was an avid cook and a Yankees Fan.
Arrangements: A graveside service with the cremains present will be held 11:45 a.m. on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Watertown, CT. There are no calling hours. Chase Parkway Memorial, the Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury has been entrusted with handling Leo’s arrangements.
