Obituary: Linda H. Beckwith, 82, of Beacon Falls
She served as a Beacon Hose EMT and was one of the first pioneering female members of the EMT team beginning in 1977 and retiring in 1989.

Linda H. Beckwith, age 82 of Beacon Falls, entered into rest unexpectedly on July 24th, 2022.
She was born in Bridgeport on April 28th,1940 and was a resident of Beacon Falls for 58 years. Linda was employed as assistant town clerk in Beacon Falls for 39 years before retiring in September 2020. She served as a Beacon Hose EMT and was one of the first pioneering female members of the EMT team beginning in 1977 and retiring in 1989. Most of all, Linda loved her family and spending time at family gatherings especially holidays. She was always very generous to everyone. She was an active communicant of St. Michael’s Church for 58 years.
She is the beloved mother of Kim Adams (Doug) and Albert Beckwith Jr., Julie Palmiero ( Joe Russo), and Sean Beckwith, grandmother of Nicholas Beckwith, Nathan Palmiero, Daniel Beckwith, Michael Beckwith and her furry grandchildren Bella and Chili.

Friends may greet the family on Tuesday August 2, 2022 from 9 am to 11 am in the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St. Derby. Her funeral will leave the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:15 am for a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon in St. Michael Church, Beacon Falls. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery, Derby.
