Obituary: Linda M. (Fortin) Mackenstein, 66, of Ansonia

Ansonia, CT - Linda M. (Fortin) Mackenstein, 66, wife of Andre Mackenstein, died peacefully December 31, 2021 at Waterbury Hospital.

Linda was born December 9, 1955 in Hartford, CT daughter of Nancy Descault and the late Edward Leo Fortin. Linda worked for over 35 years at United Avionics.

In addition to her husband Andre and her mother Nancy and her husband Ed Alvater, Linda is survived by her son, Paul A. Pemp (Ana); her daughters, Naomi Zenhye, Nancy Salter and Bonnie Sirignano (Ed); her 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; her brothers, Richard Fortin (Janet), Kenny Fortin (Maryann) and David Fortin; her sisters, Lori Ciccarelli (Ron) and Tina Leider and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, Linda was predeceased by her son in law, Rick Salter and her step-daughter, Cindy Morgan.
