Lisa met her husband Brian on a cruise in 1980, marrying in 1981. Her son Kevin was born in 1984 and daughter Allison in 1986. They provided a wonderful life to their children, spending two weeks every summer on Cape Cod and taking them to England, Ireland, and Italy as teenagers.
From 2015 until her untimely passing, Lisa was the primary caregiver of her husband after a fall in 2014 left him hospitalized for 11 months and a quadriplegic bound to an electric wheelchair. Her devotion, hard work, and can-do attitude allowed them both to have a fulfilling and active life. They enjoyed dinners out, day trips down the Cape, afternoon prayers, and an evening game of Yahtzee, Uno, or Phase Ten.

Lisa enjoyed being the doting nonni to her grandson Noah, reading books she exchanged with her sister Joan, cooking and baking for grateful family and friends, and being the class clown at her senior center workout classes. She prided herself on keeping a tidy home and making the perfect meatballs, and was a source of smiles and joy to all who encountered her. The sounds of her singing and smells from her kitchen will be especially missed.
A loyal member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Foxboro, Lisa could be found with Brian at 4 PM mass every Saturday.
Lisa is survived by her husband Brian Howland of Foxboro, MA, son Kevin Howland of New York, NY, daughter Allison Andrade and her husband Jared, grandson Noah Andrade, all of Taunton, MA, sister Joan Rossi, brother Raymond Rossi Sr., both of Naugatuck, CT, and numerous nephews, nieces, and friends. She is predeceased by her parents Enidis and Luduvina (Corpacini) Rossi, brother Edward Rossi, and niece Susan (Rossi) Mohan.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, December 22, from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxborough. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Church, 58 Carpenter Street, Foxborough. Interment to follow at Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree.
