NAUGATUCK - Louise (Ferrare) Capobianco, age 69, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2022, in Boston, MA, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. She was a loving wife, sister, mother, and grandmother.

Louise was born on April 16, 1952 in Waterbury, CT, daughter of the late Frank Ferrare and Pearl (Grosso) Ferrare of Waterbury, CT. She attended Washington Grammar School, Wilby High School and was a lifelong parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Louise worked in the optical field for twenty-two years and at Pitney Bowes for seven years. She was a devoted mother and cherished the time she spent with her husband, children and grandchildren. She enjoyed Sunday gatherings with the family and making the holidays a special time of year for her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking family meals and quiet times spent painting landscapes.

Louise is survived by her loving husband, Anthony Capobianco of Naugatuck, and her two sons, Steven Capobianco and his wife Stefanie of Southbury, Kevin Capobianco and his wife Amanda of Southington and her two grandchildren, Lani and Olivia. She also leaves behind her brother, John Ferrare and his wife Darlene of Waterbury, her two sisters, Jean Rinaldi and her husband Pat of Southbury, and Frances Larson and her husband Jeff of Wolcott, as well as several cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.


Arrangements: Funeral will be held on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. from Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT to the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception for a Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury, CT. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2022 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
