NAUGATUCK - LuAnn Hadzega, 97, beloved wife of the late Alexander Hadzega, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2022.
LuAnn was born on September 11, 1925, in New Haven, CT to the late Elbert and Mavis Downs. She was a longtime Naugatuck resident and was employed by the CT Water Company, retiring in 1990.
LuAnn leaves behind her sons, Bruce Hadzega and his wife Claire; Alan Hadzega and his wife, Donna; four grandchildren: Elisa, Michael, Rachael, Rebecca, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Elbert Downs and her sister Isabelle Anderson.

Arrangements: Visitation will be held on Monday, November 14, 2022, from10am to 11 am at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. A Graveside Service will follow at Carrington Cemetery, 84 Rainbow Rd., Bethany, CT. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 200 Executive Blvd., Southington, CT 06489-1058.
