She worked at the Waterbury Manufacturing Company, a division of Chase Brass & Copper and was crowned Miss Chase during the War Bond Effort.

PROSPECT - Marie H. (Pisani) Farina, 93, of Prospect, formerly of Waterbury entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 6, 2021 at the Cheshire House with family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Rocco Farina, Sr.

Marie was born in New York, NY on October 15, 1927, daughter of the late Antonio and Helen (Sponza) Pisani. Marie worked at the Waterbury Manufacturing Company, a division of Chase Brass & Copper. She was proudly crowned Miss Chase during the War Bond Effort. She enjoyed refinishing furniture, counted cross stitch and decorating her home to perfection with nothing ever out of place, crooked or unpolished.

Marie leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Georgiann Farina, Ronald A. Farina and his wife, Dee, Gary V. Farina and his wife, Nina, Debra Janke and her husband, Michael, Rocco Farina, Jr. and his wife, Carolyn, Donna H. Gilson and her husband, Kevin, and Robert M. Farina.
Loving and devoted Nonni/Nawnee of Julie-Ann Sarandrea, Karen Lavallee, Edward Lavallee, Michael and Steven Farina, Marc Farina, Lauren and Deanna Janke, Rebecca DePrizio, Joseph Farina deceased 2020, Kaitlin, Vanessa and Jennifer Farina, Sarah Lopriore, Eric Gilson, Danielle Healey, Robert A. Farina, Michael, Gillian and Gina Farina. Great grandmother (21), Great great grandmother (3), Aunt and friend.

Arrangements: Friends and family are invited to visit on Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 10:30 a.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Waterbury.
