February 6, 1931 ~ February 17, 2023 (age 92)

Marie Mainella, 92, of Torrington, CT, passed away Friday, February 17th, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital surrounded by her loved ones. Marie was born in Philadelphia, PA on February 6, 1931, daughter of the late Helen (Audia) and Vincent Fallible. She was the wife of Domenic A. Mainella for over 68 years and had worked as a secretary for Saint Peter’s Church in Torrington.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son Vincent Mainella and wife Christine, their son Greg, Anthony and his wife April, and Paul and his wife Hayley; their son Domenic D. Mainella, daughter Renee Beecher and her husband Gary W. Beecher, their son Gary T. Beecher, daughter Dominique Mehmet and her husband Robert.

For the past 5 years, her greatest joy was spending time with her 6 great grandchildren.

Marie had many interests, but her passion was caring for her family and friends. She had an impressive knowledge of history and a talent for fashion design.

Funeral Services will be held 11am on Thursday, February 23rd at The Immaculate Heart Church in Harwinton, CT. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery in Torrington CT. Friends may call 8:30am to 10:30am on Thursday, February 23rd at Phalen Funeral Home in Torrington, CT.
