Naugatuck, CT - Mario Paul Oliveira, 51, died unexpectedly on June 11, 2024 at his home.

Mario was born June 9, 1973 in Portugal the son of Joaquim Oliveira and Emilia Reis Oliveira and has lived in Naugatuck since coming to the United States, when he was 3 years old. Mario graduated from Holy Cross High School in Waterbury and from Southern Connecticut State University. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Waterbury.

Mario is survived by his loving parents, Joaquim and Emilia Oliveira of Naugatuck, CT and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, June 14, 2024 at 11:00am at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 2071 Baldwin Street, Waterbury, CT. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck. Calling hours will be Friday from 9:00am until 10:30am at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck.
