Obituary: Mary Budwill, 91, of Naugatuck

Born April 2, 1929, in Raseiniai, Lithuania, she moved to the U.S. in the late 1940s and was a longtime Naugatuck resident.

Naugatuck - Mary Budwill, 91, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 29, 2020, at her home. She was the wife of the late Kaspar Budwill.

Mrs. Budwill was born April 2, 1929, in Raseiniai, Lithuania, the daughter of the late Alexander and Ava (Dregnat) Wolfe. She moved to the U.S. in the late 1940s and was a longtime Naugatuck resident. She was a member of St. John’s and St. Paul’s Lutheran Churches. Mrs. Budwill worked for many years in various manufacturing companies including Risdon and Ideal.

Mrs. Budwill is survived by her children Senta Keidel, Rita Hedu and her husband Seth, Alma Bougafa and her husband Moy, Arnold Budwill, and Hiedi Woods and her husband Bill; her brother Hans Wolfe; her grandchildren Alexander and Stuart Keidel; Leila Kirkland, Courtney, Moy Jr., and Monica Bougafa; and Thomas Woods; and 9 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and her parents, she is predeceased by her siblings Olga Grigoliate, Andrew Wolfe, Horst Wolfe, and Jenny Speth.

Arrangements – Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at 11:00, am at the Alderson Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. Visitation will be held on the same day at 10:00 am until the start of the service. Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 350 Millville Ave, Naugatuck, CT 06770.
