Lifelong Oakville Resident, 101 years young

OAKVILLE, CT - Mary (Czaja) Kaschak, age 101 years young, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 9, 2020 at Apple Rehab in Watertown after a brief illness. She was the widow of William Kaschak.

Mary was born on September 27, 1919 in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Joseph and Victoria (Kolco) Czaja. Mary was a lifelong resident of Oakville and proud of it. A devoted member of St. Mary Magdalen Church she was a member of the Rosary Society there. Mary loved her garden and knitting and having her friends drop by for a visit. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.

Left to honor Mary’s love and legacy are her son, John Kaschak and his wife, Shelly and her son-in-in-law, Dick Boozer. She was predeceased by her daughter, Dorothy Boozer.

Due to the on-going pandemic, funeral services will be limited to a graveside service, Monday December 14, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Mt Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. The O’Neill Funeral Home 742 Main St Oakville has been honored to assist the Kaschak family during this difficult time.
