“Loving mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, & great great grandmother”
Mary H. Bochicchio, 91, of Waterbury, was reunited with her husband in heaven on Monday, November 15, 2021, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph Bochicchio who predeceased her in 1984.

Mary was born in Waterbury on April 1, 1930, daughter of the late Henry and Minnie (Christopher) Quinn. Mary was a proud homemaker, raising her six children, but will always be known as the “ticketron lady” to many. Mary enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and word jumbles, reading romance novels and listening to country music. She was a die-hard Boston Red Sox Fan and cherished all the memories she made at her lake house in New York.
Mary leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons, Henry Bochicchio and his wife Jo-Anne of Tolland, Joseph Bochicchio and his wife Jana of Waterbury, James Bochicchio and his wife Dara of Wellington, FL, John Bochicchio and his wife Andrea of Northfield, and her sister, Alice Telesca of Naugatuck, and her daughter-in-law, Vanessa Bochicchio. She also leaves behind her eight grandchildren, Daniel Bochicchio Jr., Michelle Harper and her husband Maurice, Joseph Bochicchio and his wife Amanda, Mary Rebelo and her husband Jason, Andrew Bochicchio, John Paul Bochicchio, Bryan Bochicchio, Diana Bochicchio, eight great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She was predeceased by her son, Daniel Bochicchio, and her daughter, Jeannie Bochicchio.
Arrangements: A funeral will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021, 8:00 a.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial, the Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, to SS. Peter & Paul Church, Mary Mother of the Church Parish, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury. Calling hours will be held Sunday afternoon from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
