THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF CLIFFORD BRODEUR

WATERBURY, CT - Mr. Clifford Brodeur, age 76 of Naugatuck, formerly of Waterbury passed away on Saturday December 26, 2020 at Beacon Brook Rehab in Naugatuck after long battle with Lewy Body Dementia and complications of COVID #19. He was the devoted husband of Kathleen M. Brodeur, his wife of 54 years.

Mr. Brodeur was born on January 7, 1944 in Waterbury the son of the late Ernest and Catherine (McMahon) Brodeur. He was a graduate of Croft High School and then entered the US Army and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War era stationed in Germany. He earned a degree in business from Post College and worked for 32 years for SNET as a technician. Cliff loved to travel, play golf but was most important to him was spending time with his family. Both he and his wife, Kathleen were longtime Waterbury residents as well as lifetime members of St. Francis Xavier parish. Cliff was also a member of the Elks Club of Naugatuck and was the consummate, husband, father and grandfather and great grandfather. He will be sadly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.

Left to cherish his love and memories, besides his wife, Kathleen are his children; Lisa Zawadski and her husband, Charles of Stratford, CT Nicole Czarasty and her fiancé, Frank Osnato of Waterbury, and Todd Brodeur and his wife, Sbicca of Albuquerque, NM. Cliff and Kathleen were blessed with 4 adoring grandchildren; Kenneth, Taylor, Alex, and Max and his great granddaughter, Harper. In addition, Cliff also leaves his brother, Richard Brodeur and his wife, Kathryn of Naugatuck and his twin sister, Catherine Wasta and her husband, Richard of Hardwick VT as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Brodeur will be held on Wednesday, December 30th 2020 at 10:00 a.m. when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Francis Xavier Church 625 Baldwin St Waterbury where all guidelines in effect regarding COVID # 19 will be strictly enforced. All those planning to attend are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial with full military honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Waterbury. Relatives and friends may pay their respects during s walkthrough visitation with Cliff’s family on Tuesday evening December 29th from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury.
