WATERTOWN, CT - Mrs. Lucia (Coppola) Capuano, 80, of Watertown, entered into the gates of heaven on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Waterbury Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Antonio Capuano.
Lucia was born in Pompeii, Naples, Italy on May 24, 1940, a daughter of the late Vincenzo and Clementina (Disomma) Coppola.

Lucia dedicated her whole life to her family as a homemaker. She was an excellent cook making authentic Italian cuisine for her family and friends. She enjoyed working in her garden, taking care of her flower beds, but loved the time spent with her family and grandchildren.

She leaves her children, Nicola Capuano and his wife, Lucia, Vincenzo Capuano and his wife, Filomena, Giuseppe Capuano and his wife, Maria, Clementina Capuano and her husband, Giovanni, Carmelina Capuano and her husband, Daniele, all of Italy, Gemina Capuano and her husband, Felice, of Watertown, Silvana Capuano and her husband, Kenneth of Stamford and Massimo Capuano and his wife, Sarah, of Oakville, nineteen grandchildren, her three brothers, Antonio, Giuseppe and Giovanni Coppola all of Italy, her three sisters, Maria, Lidia and Ester Coppola all of Italy. She was predeceased by her siblings, Gennaro, Catello and Blandina Capuano.

Arrangements: Calling hours for Lucia will be held, Monday, February 15, 2021, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 6:30 p.m. at the Evangelical Christian Church of Waterbury, 1317 Watertown Avenue, Waterbury. Funeral and burial will be private. Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury has been entrusted with handling Lucia’s arrangements.
