Obituary: Mrs. Lucille M. (Lefevre) Decarolis, 93, of Waterbury

Waterbury – Mrs. Lucille M. (Lefevre) Decarolis, 93, passed away on Friday, July 29th at home in the presence of her loving sister and best friend Diane (Lefevre) Mordino. She was the widow of Louis D. Decarolis.

Lucille was born in Waterbury on February 7, 1929, the second daughter of the late Henry A. and Elmira (Bowns) Lefevre. Her first love was her family, her passion was traveling. She was always ready to go anywhere at any time. She enjoyed reading at least one book a day and singing in the St. Michael’s Church Choir and the Prospect Senior Center Song Birds.

In addition to her sister Diane, she leaves to cherish her memory are her children, Linda Fillichio and her husband Benedict, Lucille “Tina” Palmer and her husband Timothy, Louis D. Decarolis II and his wife Karen and Andriana Pinto; her grandchildren, Bruce Martin Jr, Timothy Palmer II, Catherine Palmer Cabral, Louis Decarolis III, Marc Decarolis and Paige Decarolis; her great-grandchildren, Paige Martin, Louis “Domenic” Decarolis IV, Noah, Ella and Tessa Cabral and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Henry Lefevre, Jeanne Lefevre, Barbara Cavallo and Clare Sportato.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, August 4, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Michael’s Church 62 St. Michael’s Drive Waterbury. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours.
