TORRINGTON, CT - Nicholas Prindle, 37, of Torrington, CT, passed away Thursday, January 14th, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital after a courageous but short battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

Nicholas was born in Torrington, CT on October 13, 1983, a son of Joanne (Bartley) and David Prindle. A graduate of Torrington High School (class of 2002) and Iona College (class of 2006) with a degree in Criminal Justice.

Nick was an avid golfer, fisherman and snowboarder. He also loved to hike and travel. He especially enjoyed his trips to Utah and Australia where he did his study abroad.

Nicholas had numerous friends whom he cherished. They were all from various walks of life and he considered them as family. Nick was the life of the party and and could always light up the room with his wit and humor.

In addition to his parents, he leaves brothers Timothy Prindle and wife Rita, and Mathew Prindle with Lael Krukar, nephews Christian,Evan, and Eric as well as special cousins Alice and Maya. He also leaves several aunts, uncles, and cousins.


A walk-through visitation will be held Tuesday 4-7 PM at Phalen Funeral Home followed by a graveside service Wednesday 11 AM at Hillside Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital for their caring and understanding during this difficult time.
