Loving Mother and “Ammy”

WATERTOWN - Pamela J. (Bergeron) Wawer, age 66, passed away surrounded by her family, on March 11, 2022, at Waterbury Hospital.

Born on July 4, 1955, in Waterbury, Pam was the daughter of the late Roland and Teresa (Laliberte) Bergeron. She was a graduate of Crosby High School. Pam worked for the City of Waterbury, in the Food Program for over ten years, most recently in Wilson Elementary School. Prior to that, Pam worked for Coats North America in Watertown for over ten years where she made lifelong friends. She enjoyed gardening, playing games on her computer and was an avid fan of Law & Order. Above all, Pam was a devoted mother and grandmother who adored her grandsons.

Pam is survived by her son Kenneth M. Wawer and his partner Renee of New Milford; and her daughter Karen M. Wawer of Watertown. She also leaves her beloved grandsons to whom she was “Ammy”, Ethan C. Wawer, Jacob M. Wawer and Ryan J. Wawer; all of Watertown; her brother Albert R. Bergeron of Waterbury and her sisters Sandra Famiglietti of Terryville, Laurie Thomas and her husband Allen of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Kathy Bergeron and her partner Monica Williams of Waterbury as well as several nieces and nephews.

All services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
