Obituary: Patricia Ann Smith, age 71, of Thomaston

She was a graduate of Naugatuck High School, class of 1971. Patricia worked at Waterbury Hospital in the lab office for over 40 years.

WATERBURY - Patricia Ann Smith, age 71, of Thomaston, CT, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Waterbury Hospital.

Patricia was born on April 2, 1951 in Waterbury. She was the daughter of the late Roy and Genevieve (Raimo) Smith. She was a graduate of Naugatuck High School, class of 1971. Patricia worked at Waterbury Hospital in the lab office for over 40 years. As a loving daughter and sister,
she was predeceased by her brothers Roy Smith Junior, Eddie Smith, and David Smith, her sister Immaculate DiPietro, and her brother-in laws, Alfred Zwiebel and Jerry DiPietro.

Left to honor her legacy and cherish her memory are her sisters, Barbara Zwiebel of Levittown, PA, Louella Rostedt and her husband Roy of Oakville, CT, and Cheryl Anthony and her husband Bill of Waterbury, CT, as well as her many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly. She also leaves behind her companion of over 15 years, Kenneth Sayers, of Thomaston, CT.

Funeral services for Mrs. Smith will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022 when a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 noon at Mary Mother of the Church, St Leo the Great Church 14 Bentwood Dr Waterbury. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Relatives and friends may visit with Mrs Smith’s family on Saturday morning from 9:30 until 11:30 a.m.
