“Beloved wife, mother & sister”

Patricia E. (Murphy) Valerio, passed away peacefully in Stuart, Florida on Thursday, September 1, 2022; she was 66 years old. Patty is the daughter of the late Rita (McCarthy) and Charles Murphy. She grew up in Waterbury, Connecticut, having attended Sts. Peter and Paul Grammar School and Sacred Heart High School.

Patty is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 46 years, Mark Valerio, and their three children, Nicole Valerio and her daughter Abrianna, Kristin Valerio and Brandon Burnette, and Mark Valerio II and Julie Valerio and their son Mark III, along with her beloved golden-doodle Beau. Patty also leaves behind her sisters, Fran Dunn and her husband George, Marty Gentile and her husband Jim, her brother Buddy Murphy and his fiancée Barbara Canfield, sisters-in-law, Susan Langdeau and Kathleen Benoit and her husband Jack who she spent many hours laughing and joking with, as well as many nieces, nephews and close friends who all loved her dearly. Patty was predeceased by her brothers Michael and Kevin Murphy.

Patty, an ardent supporter of the Knights of Columbus, and is now singing and dancing in heaven and will be forever doing the same in our hearts.

Arrangements: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated St. Pius X Church,St. Basil the Great Parish, 525 Woodtick Road, Wolcott CT, on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 10:30 AM. Inurnment of cremains will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Chase Parkway Memorial, the Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, has been entrusted with handling Patty’s funeral arrangements.
