Patrick Macdonald, 33, of Oakville, entered into the gates of Heaven unexpectedly on Wednesday May 24, 2023. He was the husband of Carlene (Carrington) Macdonald.
Patrick was born in Waterbury on March 19, 1990, son of Thomas and Roisin (Flaherty) Macdonald of Middlebury. He was raised in Middlebury and graduated from Nonnewaug High School in Woodbury. He earned his certificate as a diesel Mechanic from Lincoln Tech in East Windsor. He worked as a diesel mechanic for O & G Industries in Southbury for the past twelve years. He was an avid truck and motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He took great pleasure raising his chickens and exploring nature with his children. The most important thing in his life was spending time with his children.

Besides his wife Carlene of nine years and his parents, Patrick leaves to honor and cherish his memory; his children, Rylie Carrington-Macdonald and Rory Macdonald both of Oakville; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended relatives and friends.
Arrangements: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday May 27, 2023 at 11 a.m. at St. John of the Cross Church in Middlebury. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held Friday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Brookside Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home 200 Benson Road Middlebury.
