He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, New York Jets, Boston Bruins and UConn Men’s basketball. When the Red Sox won the world Series in 2004, he sat staring in disbelief at the TV for 30 minutes. How beautiful it was that he was able to see his beloved team win not one, but three more times! He was an active parishioner at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Waterbury. Every month, he and Diane would load up the car with food items to bring to the Ecumenical Food Pantry in Naugatuck. He loved fly fishing on the Housatonic River in Kent CT.
Besides his wife Diane, Paul is survived by his mother, Alexandra Millas of Longmeadow, MA, and his two siblings, Christina Colello and husband Gary of Woodstock CT, Stephen Millas and wife Diane of Danbury, CT. He also leaves behind nieces and nephews, Alexandra Colello, Stephanie Colello and fiancé Dan Haughton, Andrew Colello, Michael Millas and wife Caitlin, Thomas Millas and wife Stacie, Christina Urban, and a great niece, Nora.
