Paul Plocha, 64, husband of Joseph Owens, diedunexpectedly on December 8, 2022 at Complete Care at Glendale Centerin Naugatuck.

Paul was born February 9, 1958 in Waterbury, CT a son of the lateEdward Francis Plocha and Nila Juliana (Novak) Plocha. Paul lived inNaugatuck all of his life and graduated from Naugatuck High School,Class of 1976. Paul went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree from EasternConnecticut State University and he worked as an accounting associateat PEZ Candy, Inc. in Orange, CT for over 20 years.

In addition to his husband Joe, Paul is survived by his brother and sisterin law, Edward Michael Plocha and Janice Plocha of Thomaston, CT;his sister, Nila Felicia Plocha of Old Saybrook, CT; his niece, ChristinePlocha and his great niece and great nephew.In addition to his parents, Paul was predeceased by his sister, LuannaPlocha.

Family and friends will gather to honor and celebrate Paul’s life onSaturday, December 17, 2022 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the BuckmillerThurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck. Burial will be private.
