“Loving husband, father, grandfather & brother”
WOLCOTT, CT - Paul Trigilia, 66, of Wolcott, entered into the gates of heaven unexpectedly on Friday, November 13, 2020, at St. Mary’s Hospital. He was the loving husband of Donna M. (Melillo) Trigilia of 43 years.

Paul was born in Waterbury on May 6, 1954, son of the late Salvatore and Frances (DiBlasi) Trigilia. Paul graduated from Kennedy High School Class of 1972. He earned his bachelor degree in respiratory therapy from Quinnipiac University and his master’s degree in public health from New York Medical College. He started his career as a respiratory therapist at St. Vincent Hospital where he worked for 5 years, Danbury Hospital for 15 years, Gaylord Hospital for 10 years and Lawrence and Memorial Hospital for 4 years. He retired 6 weeks ago from Pendleton Health & Rehab in Mystic where he worked for 6 years. He took great pleasure spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Besides his wife Donna, Paul leaves behind to cherish his memory; 3 children, Michael F. Trigilia and his wife Gina of Wolcott, Aaron S. Trigilia and his fiancé Kathleen Cook of Waterbury, Diana Trigilia and her fiancé David Solano of Wolcott; two sisters, Paula Venditti and her husband Angelo of Waterbury, Deborah Quarz of Las Vegas, NV; seven beloved grandchildren whom he loved and adored, Domenic and Adrianna Trigilia, Craig Tataranowicz, Gabriella Trigilia and Aaron Trigilia Jr., Mia Solano and Giana Solano; and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements: A funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2020, 8:45 a.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial, The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury. Calling hours will be held Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
