Obituary: Paula Caputo, 50, Of Naugatuck

A longtime Naugatuck resident, she was always the life of the party with an infectious laugh.

Paula Caputo, 50, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at Waterbury Hospital. She was the wife of James Maslar.

Paula was born October 13, 1972, in Daytona Beach, FL, the daughter of Lorraine Caputo and the late Henry Frisbie. She was a longtime Naugatuck resident, graduating from Naugatuck High School, class of 1990.

Everyone who knew Paula would consider her an absolute joy. The center of her life was about family and spending time with those she loved most. She was always the life of the party, with an infectious laugh. As a wife, mother, Nona, and friend Paula was always doing for others. She had an unapologetic way of being herself, always. She will be incredibly missed and remembered fondly.

Besides her husband of 35 years and her mother, Paula is survived by her sons Danny Caputo and Jesse Maslar; her grandchildren Carson and Kinsley Caputo; her aunts Marion Larson and Angela Moorman; and her nieces Breanna Delgrosso and Angelina Gregory. In addition to her father, Paula is predeceased by her sister Angela Lamas.

Arrangements – Visitation for Paula will be held on Sunday, August 6, 2023, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. A graveside service will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at Grove Cemetery, Cross St., Naugatuck. Memorial contributions may be made to James Maslar.
