“Loving wife, mother and sister”
WATERBURY, CT - Petrina (Kalaja) Rusi, age 42, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2020 at Derby Hospital after a valiant battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Artan Rusi.
Petrina was born July 29, 1978 in Zemlak, Korce, Albania, a daughter of Server and Donika Kalaja. Petrina earned her Masters Degree and was currently employed by the City of Waterbury, Board of Education as a third grade teacher at Chase School.

Besides her loving husband of 20 years of Waterbury and her parents, Petrina leaves her children James and Julia Rusi both of Waterbury, her brother Daniel Kalaja, her sisters Pranvera and Arta Kalaja and a large extended group of family and friends.
Arrangements: Funeral services for Petrina will be held on Saturday October 17, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway. Burial will follow at New Pine Grove Cemetery. Calling hours Saturday from 9 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m.
