Robert F. Sexton 89 of Beacon Falls entered into eternal rest on July 25 after a brief illness. He was born in Derby on April 27,1934 to Patrick F. and Agnes (Condon) Sexton. He served in the U.S.Marines from 1953 to 1955, was a life long member of Marine Corps league, member of the VFW Post 12084,American Legion Post 0174 of Oxford. Bob retired from the Seymour Post Office in 1999 with 21 years of service.
He leaves five children Darlene Sexton, Kathleen (Dennis) Duty, Doreen (John) Handrinos, Robert (Debbie) Sexton, Richard (Julie) Sexton, 7 grandchildren. Predeceased by two wives Catherine Carpenter Sexton and Constance Sexton, brother Edward Sexton and sister Patricia Studley.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 8-10:30 a.m. in the Bennett Funeral Home 91 N. Cliff St. Ansonia with a funeral Service starting at 10:30. Burial with Full Military Honors will be in Pine Grove Cemetery
