WOODBURY – Robert Nelson Freeman, 78, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2021 at Abbott Terrace Health Center in Waterbury, CT. He was the husband of Rosalie (Prucino) Freeman of Southbury, CT.

Bob was born in Easton, PA on March 23, 1943 son of the late Robert & Judy (Harris) Freeman and grew up in Nazareth, PA. He was a US Navy Veteran during the Vietnam War and was a longtime Woodbury resident.
Bob was a retired Waterbury School Teacher at Wilby High School, Wallace Middle School and Kennedy High School. He also coached basketball at Wilby and Post University for many years.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Julie Freeman, his son, David Freeman and his fiancé, Kandice Wainwright and his beloved granddaughter, Zayah Raine Freeman.
Funeral Services were private at the convenience of the family. The Murphy Funeral Home, 115 Willow Street, Waterbury, CT assisted with the arrangements.
