April 27, 1953 ~ November 1, 2020 (age 67)

WOODBURY, CT - Robert W. Crawford (Bob), 67, of Woodbury passed away unexpectedly at his home on November 1, 2020.

Robert was born on April 27, 1953 in Appleton, WI to Richard Crawford and Claire Crawford (Née: Vogelmann). He studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and obtained a BA in Fine Arts and Illustration. He was an award-winning illustrator and Fine Artist who was well known in the art community and the local community. He was also on the Board of Directors for the Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut. In his free time, Robert enjoyed cycling, tennis, and spending time with friends and family.

Robert loved his family, his wife, and many friends he had made over his lifetime. Robert strived to enjoy every moment of life and brought joy to so many through his art.
He is survived by his wife Marguerite Starr; his children: Kathryn Mettey, James Crawford and stepchildren Thayer and Ben Clark; His grandchildren Cecilia and Alice Mettey, his sister, Jean DiBartolo and former spouse and mother of his children Janice Crawford.

A private service will be held at Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home in Woodbury.
