"Loving husband, father and grandfather"

Rocco Caputo, Sr., age 68, of Terryville and formerly of Plymouth, passed away peacefully at his home Tuesday, November 14, 2023. He was the husband of Kimberly (Crusius) Caputo.
Rocco was born on June 30, 1955 in Tolve, Potenza, Italy. He was the son of the late Antonio and Lucia (Mattia) Caputo and came to the United States when he was twelve. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.

Prior to his retirement in 2015, Rocco was proud to be a Local 24 Union Carpenter for forty plus years, specializing in acoustical ceilings. He was also a double lung transplant survivor of almost 8 years. He loved to garden, cook, make homemade sauce, wine, and sausage with his family. Rocco split his time living in Florida as well. He loved to hunt, fish, and was an avid outdoorsman.
He leaves his son Rocco Jr., his children, Rocco and Sia; daughter Tina, her husband, Neal and their children, Julianna and Nathan; his siblings, Raffaella Signore, Teresa Bovino, Letizia Couture, Luciana Florio, Vita Venezia and Evelina Gervickas and their spouses; he was predeceased by three sisters, Rosa Tancredi, Anna LaCapra and Domenica Iacovella and two brothers, Donato & Mario Caputo.

The family would like to thank Remarkable Homecare of New Haven and VITAS Healthcare & Home Hospice Care CT for their compassionate care given to Rocco.

Arrangements: Funeral Services for Rocco will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT. Burial will follow at New Pine Grove Cemetery in Waterbury. Calling hours for Rocco will be held Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00 am.
