Rosemarie was born on October 10, 1933 at home in the Oakville section of Watertown. A lifelong area resident who was a long-term parishioner of the Basilica of the Immaculate conception in Waterbury. She was proud of her family and friends and found joy and comfort in their presence throughout her life and even more so as she struggled with dementia at the end of her life.
She was a loving spouse, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister and friend.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Francis “Rick” Oricchio and her sons and their spouses, Rick and Lore of Milford and Stephen and Karen of Wolcott. Her grandsons and their spouses/significant others Daniel, Mathew and Jess, David and Julia, and Andrew and Christy will cherish the memories of their “little grandma”. Also to cherish her memory are her great grandchildren, Aubree Rose and Rocco. There was always a special place in her heart for her nieces and nephew Toni DeStefano and Lucille and Bob Restivo.
