Loving Mother and Grandmother

Ruth Ann Busher, age 60, passed away at her home on Wednesday, December 28, 2022.

Born in Hazleton, PA, on February 17, 1962, Ruth was the daughter of the late Robert and Jean (Edstrom) Busher. She was a graduate of Naugatuck High School and worked in Quality Assurance for Yofarm for over fifteen years. Previous to Yofarm, Ruth worked for Duracell and Peter Paul Cadbury. A person of great strength, Ruth smiled through all of her health adversities and always remained positive. She was kind and loving and was happiest when with her family, especially her grandchildren. She always made time to attend all of their concerts, games, and other activities. She enjoyed reading, baking, was an avid NY Rangers fan and loved animals.

Ruth is survived by her daughters Jennifer LaBonte and her husband Brandon of Waterbury, Brenda Farkash and her partner Angel Figueroa of Naugatuck, Linda Montreuil of Waterbury, Dina McClary of Torrington; her son Alexander Farkash III of Terryville and their father Alexander Farkash, Jr; several grandchildren including Nathan LaBonte, Jasmine Farkash, Angeleah Figueroa, and Angelo Figueroa, and many great-grandchildren. She also leaves her partner Kenneth Ducham, and her brothers and sisters Raymond Busher, Edward Busher, Robert Busher and his wife Sharon, Debra Glick, and Robin Mauriello and her husband Alfredo as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her beloved cat Garfield. Ruth was predeceased by her son David Farkash, her brother Paul Busher and her cat Slick.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 from 4:00 – 7:00pm with a service beginning at 6:30pm at Maiorano Funeral Home, 95 Willow St., Waterbury.
