Waterbury – Sheila Lee Readel, 57, beloved daughter of Carol (O’Reilly Readel) White and the late Edward J. Readel, died peacefully after a long illness with her family by her side.
Sheila was born August 20, 1965; she was a graduate of Holy Cross High School, class of 1983 and from Franklin Pierce College. She worked as an administrative assistant at West Side Middle School and at the Scoreboard and the Speak Easy where she met many cherished friends who became like family.

In addition to her mother, she leaves to lovingly remember her, one son, Christopher Readel and his fiancé, Aiyana Taylor; her sisters, Debra (Readel) Erickson of Cheshire and Eileen (Readel) Carroll and her husband Tom of Essex, Vermont; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and her uncles Thomas Murray and Robert Readel, and dear friends. She was predeceased by two aunts, Sheila Murray and Sharon Orsini.
