Stella V. (Zdanowicz) Porto, age 97, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Cheshire Regional Rehab Center. She was the loving wife of the late Lawrence G. Porto.
Stella was born on October 10, 1923, in Naugatuck, daughter of the late John and Veronika (Sapitovich) Zdanowicz. She was a graduate of Naugatuck High School and was a secretary for the City of Waterbury, Department of Education at Wilby High School for many years. She was a wonderful homemaker who was devoted to her loving family.

Stella was predeceased by her husband Larry, to whom she was married to for 66 years. She is survived by her son, Thomas Porto and his wife Leslie of Chambersburg, PA, her daughter, Lauren Rizzo of Oakville and her granddaughter Camryn Rizzo of Brooklyn, NY.
