SOUTHINGTON, CT - Stephen T. Bessette, 35, of Southington passed away unexpectedly on Friday February 19, 2021. Stephen was born in Torrington on January 26, 1986 the son of Lynn Anderson and the late Nelson Bessette. He attended Oliver Wolcott Technical School and studied at Tunxis Community College. He served his country as a Jet Fighter Mechanic for the United States Navy, and went on to open his own successful business, Advantage Home Improvements.

Stephen had a creative and giving spirit. He was musically gifted in guitar playing and song writing. He was kind to animals and adored his two dogs, Bullet and Oreo. He was loved by family and friends and will be greatly missed. His spirit will live on forever in our hearts and memories.
Stephen in survived by his mother, Lynn Anderson, brother Michael Bessette, sister Emily Anderson and niece Kayleigh Bessette. He was predeceased by his father, Nelson Bessette, grandparents Stanley J. Dziedzic Sr. and Josephine E. Knox Dziedzic, and Thomas and Ann Bessette.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a walk through wake will be held Saturday March 13, 2021 from 8:45-10:45 AM at Phalen Funeral Home 285 Migeon Ave Torrington. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM at Saint Francis Church 160 Main St Torrington.
