Steven attended Oliver Wolcott Technical High School in Torrington, CT and graduated in 2002. He then enrolled at Naugatuck Valley Community College before receiving a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

A particularly skilled Electrician that cared for perfection in his work and pride in every project he completed, Steven provided his top-notch Residential and Commercial work around Northwestern, CT for 15 years before residing and perfecting his craft in the Berkshires for the last 5 years.
An avid hiker, coin collector and RC Truck Rebuilder, Steven could always be found outside, whether he was building something or working on the yard. Tinkering in the basement on various projects was his favorite thing to do, as well as hiking deep in the woods and racing RC Trucks with his son.
He was a kind and gentle soul who loved teaching his son new things and was intellectually curious about the world. Somewhat of an introvert, until you really got to know him.

He loved his family, a close game of Yahtzee or Sorry, but Uno was his favorite. He loved to stockpile all the really good cards. He enjoyed funny TV shows like the Simpsons, a delicious Dark Lager, and an even better Steak or BBQ Burger. Always with extra pickles. His pride and joy in life was his son. A dedicated, loving, and silly father. The best cuddler on the planet to his four kitties.
Steven is also survived by his many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Friends, his extended family, his Mother and Father-in Law, his Sister and Brother-in Law, and Nieces and a Nephew who loved him very dearly. As did he.

Calling hours will be held at Phalen Funeral Home, 285 Migeon Avenue, Torrington, CT on Saturday, January 20 from 1:00 to 3:00. To honor Steven's memory, a Celebration of Life for family and friends to attend will be announced at a future date.
