Terry R. Monaco, 73, of Hillside Ave, Naugatuck CT, passed away peacefully Saturday March 18, 2023. She was the loving wife of Thomas Monaco for 24 years. Born in Bridgeport, CT, she was the daughter of late Frederick Rouff and Marion (Acklam) Rouff.

Terry and her parents were avid dragracers, racing at Connecticut Dragway, Dover Dragstrip, York US 30 and other east coast racetracks. It is through these automotive connections, that she began working as a secretary in the Research and Development Department for Moroso Performance. This is also where Terry met her husband, Tom. Terry was also an accomplished cook and looked forward to entertaining family and friends on holidays and special occasions.

In addition to her husband Tom, she is survived by her niece and nephews Fred Macey, Jack Macey, Joe Terry and Joann Swett. She is predeceased by her parents, her brother, Ronald Rouff, her sister Margo Macey and her loving nephew, Johnny Macey.

Funeral arrangements are private and have been entrusted to Gilman Funeral Home & Crematory. The family has requested that remembrances in her honor be made in the form of a charitable donation to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Tribute Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN.
