She was a graduate of St. Hedwig's School, Naugatuck High School and with her husband, worked, helped operate Bosco's North End Glass.

“Loving Mother, grandmother & sister”
Theda (Niestemski) Bosco, 97, of Woodbury, was reunited with her husband in heaven on Monday, November 21, 2022, surrounded by her loving family, at the VITAS Inpatient Unit at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Salvatore A. Bosco Jr., who predeceased her in 2018.
Theda was born in Waterbury, CT on February 9, 1925, daughter of the late Zigmunt and Florence (Ploski) Niestemski. She was a graduate of St. Hedwig’s Grammar School and Naugatuck High School and with her husband, worked and helped operate Bosco’s North End Glass. In her later years, Theda enjoyed trips to the casino, vacationing, and watching her favorite game shows. She was a valiant breast cancer survivor realizing her will not to succumb to the disease. Above everything else, Theda was a generous soul devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Theda leaves behind to cherish her memory her two children, Florence Justino and her husband Joseph of Woodbury, Curtis Bosco and his wife Sharon of Middlebury, her four grandchildren, Mark A. Douty and his wife Alexandra, Traci L. Dugdale and her husband Dustin, Matthew B. Douty Sr., and Madeline S. Bosco, and four great grandchildren, Matthew, Jr., Emma, Megan & Zachary Douty and several nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Wanda Ploski and her brother Alphonse Niestemski.

Arrangements: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Midd-South Roman Catholic Church, St. John of the Cross Campus in Middlebury. Burial of cremains will follow at Lake Elise Cemetery in Middlebury. Visitation will be held Monday morning from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at Brookside Memorial, the Albini Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 200 Benson Road, Middlebury.
