WATERBURY, CT - Theresa (Catapano) Pagano, 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, February 21, 2021. She was the beloved wife of Richard for 64 years, who passed away exactly two months ago on December, 21, 2020.

Theresa was born in Waterbury on May 10, 1934, the daughter of the late Nicola and Carmella (Pizzuto) Catapano. She was a graduate of Wilby High School. Theresa was a full time homemaker and part time bookkeeper for J.C. Pagano Construction Company. She was also a past secretary for the Waterbury Hospital Women’s Auxiliary for many years. Theresa’s strong faith led her to serve as a Eucharistic Minister for many years at SS. Peter & Paul Church.

An avid tennis player, her family knew they would find her every Wednesday on the court with her many friends. She and Richard traveled the world and made lasting memories with their dear friends, Loretta and Joe Calabrese. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, especially for Sunday dinners.

She leaves behind, to cherish her memory, her children, Lisa Dreher and husband Rick of Bethlehem, Richard J. Pagano and his wife Teresa of Southington, and Susan Farrell and her husband James of Wolcott. She also leaves behind her six grandchildren, Travis (Valerie), Eric (Abigail), Emily (Matthew), Alexa (Ryan), Michael, and Erika (Ronnie), and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Mary, and her brothers, Vincent and Frank.
Arrangements: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February, 25, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Mary Mother of the Church Parish, SS. Peter & Paul Church in Waterbury. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. Calling hours will be held Thursday morning from from 8:45 to 9:45 AM at Chase Parkway Memorial, the Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor her legacy by giving unconditional love and support to your family and friends, which was the essence of how Theresa lived her life.
