Theresa A. (Evanoski) Terry, age 77 , beloved wife of the late John F. Terry, Sr., passed away on Monday April 22, 2024 at Mid-State Medical Center.

Born in Waterbury, CT on February 16, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Francis J. and Zita (Wojtczak) Evanoski. Terri was a lifetime Naugatuck resident and had retired from Glendale Health Center after 43 years of dedicated service. She was affectionately known as the "Mayor of Glendale." She enjoyed shopping and spending quality time with her family and friends.

She leaves her family to cherish her memory, Michelle (Terry) Krutz and her husband Joseph of Cheshire; her six grandchildren; Timothy, Hannah, Bradley, Christopher, Jr., Alicia and Alison; several great grandchildren; her sister-in-law Holly Evans of Waterbury; several nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was predeceased by her sons Christopher Terry and John Terry Jr.

Visitation will be held on Friday April 26, 2024 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday April 27, 2024 at 10 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church Street, Naugatuck. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery.
