Born October 26, 1951 in Scranton, Pennsylvania to the late Edward & Mary (Walsh) McLaine, he would go on to spend most of his life as a resident of Connecticut. He was last employed by the Home Depot in Waterbury, CT, where he loved helping and socializing with his customers and co-workers.

Tom loved spending his free time surrounded by his family and friends. For the past 20 years he enjoyed a regular cocktail hour (Sundays at 4:30pm) with his wife, Patricia, and his best friend, Rich. On social outings, he favored the Mix Prime in Woodbury for prime rib, his favorite cut of meat, along with a martini.

His memory lives on through his wife Patrica, and children; Brian (the eldest) and his fiance Brandi Neveu, his caring daughter, Stacie with her partner William Carls, and his youngest child, David.

He also leaves behind his sisters; Margaret (Peg) McGuire and Nancy Alibrizio with her husband Frank; his brothers James (and his wife Alice), Joseph (and his wife Maryanne); as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family. Tom was predeceased by his brothers John and Patrick.
