Beloved Brother and Friend

WATERBURY – Thomas A. Visockis, age 71 of Waterbury, formerly of Watertown, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 18, 2023 at Saint Mary’s Hospital after a brief but valiant battle with cancer.

Tom was born May 1st 1952 in Waterbury, CT, the son of the late Algerd and Agatha (Bayarinas) Visockis. Tom spent many years as a security officer with the Murphy Security Company until his retirement and was an active parishioner of Saint Mary Magdalen Church where he proudly served as a Eucharistic minister. Tom was an avid New York Yankees and NY Giants fan and will be greatly missed by all those who were blessed to know and love him.

Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory are his brother, David Visockis and his wife, Lisa of Middletown, CT as well as several cousins, extended family members, and many friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Visockis will be held privately and at the convenience of his family in the Lithuanian Cemetery in Waterbury where he will be laid to rest with his parents and brother Robert. There are no calling hours. To honor Tom and in lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the American Cancer Society at: www.cancer.org .
