Fall is officially here in Naugatuck, and there’s no shortage of ways to make the most of it. From festivals and farmers markets to pumpkin patches, live music and other seasonal fun, October brings plenty of reasons to get out and enjoy what’s happening close to home.

Naugatuck Farmer’s Market

When: Sundays through Oct. 25, 2026, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: Naugatuck Town Green | 210 Church Street, Naugatuck

Shop fresh and local at the Naugatuck Farmers Market on the Naugatuck Town Green, where community vendors offer fresh produce, baked goods, artisanal treats and other local favorites. The market also hosts special activities throughout the season, including kids’ activities and live music on select dates.

22nd Annual Pumpkin Festival 2026

When: Saturday, Oct. 17, 2026, 4 to 8 p.m.
Where: Prospect Town Green | 12 Center Street, Prospect

Head to nearby Prospect for the 22nd Annual Prospect Pumpkin Festival on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2026, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Prospect Town Green. The festival features a costume and decorated vehicle parade, marching bands, food and local vendors, games, entertainment and prizes, plus a hay bale rolling contest and scarecrow contest.

Haunted Waterbury And The Naugatuck Valley

When: Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026, 6 p.m.
Where: Howard Whittemore Memorial Library | 243 Church Street, Naugatuck

Hear eerie tales from close to home during Haunted Waterbury and the Naugatuck Valley at Howard Whittemore Memorial Library on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026, at 6 p.m. Author Mike Bielawa will explore the region’s supernatural lore, from factory ghosts and haunted cemeteries to mysterious roads, local legends and other dark chapters from the Valley’s history.

Trunk-Or-Treat Parade

When: Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026, 3 to 5 p.m.
Where: Naugatuck Green | 210 Church Street, Naugatuck (starting location)

Dress up and join the Trunk-or-Treat Parade on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026, from 3 to 5 p.m., beginning on the Naugatuck Green. The free event will lead families past candy-filled, decorated trunks before ending at American Legion Hall, where the festivities continue with refreshments, food trucks, hayrides, an inflatable obstacle course, a bonfire and more.

Halloween Party Ft Brass City Connection

When: Friday, Oct. 30, 2026, 10 p.m.
Where: The Eleven Bar & Grille | 173 Rubber Avenue, Naugatuck

Kick off Mischief Night with live music at the Halloween Party Ft. Brass City Connection on Friday, Oct. 30, 2026. Brass City Connection returns for an evening of Halloween tricks, treats and live music, giving adults a festive way to start the holiday weekend.
