Lake Compounce Announces Opening Date: What To Know About 2025 Season

The beloved attraction, which features amusement rides, a water park, and more, has announced its calendar for the coming summer.

BRISTOL, CT — One of Connecticut's most iconic theme parks is set to open for the 2025 season. Lake Compounce has announced May 3 as its opening date.

Lake Compounce is home to an amusement park and a water park as well as a popular campground.

Crocodile Cove Water Park will open May 24.

Lake Compounce is home to the world-famous "Boulder Dash" roller coaster carved into a nearby mountain is considered a bucket-list ride for coaster enthusiasts.

The park is running a "Season Opening Super Sale" with tickets going for $29.99 any day before June 1. Season passes are also going for as low as $54.99.

Special events at the park will be occurring through the summer, including Kids Fest on weekends in June and Fourth of July fireworks.

Earlier this year, Lake Compounce was purchased by Herschend Family Entertainment, an Atlanta-based company that owns Dollywood in Tennessee.

Lake Compounce is considered the oldest amusement park in America, with a history of over 175 years.
