Oxford Grandmother Accused of Drinking Alcohol While Driving With a Child in the Car, Naugatuck Cops Say
Naugatuck police say the woman had an open container in her vehicle.

Naugatuck police say Deborah Jaffer, 60, Chestnut Tree Hill in Oxford, is accused of literally drinking while driving while also having a child in the vehicle
Police said on Friday evening officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rubber Avenue and Jaffer was allegedly drinking an alcoholic beverage while driving.
Police also found a child in the car too, police said. Jaffer was charged with drinking while operating a motor vehicle and risk of injury to a child.
