Oxycodone, Marijuana Seized From BMW: Naugatuck Police
The driver fled from an attempted traffic stop and officers later found the BMW at a gas station, according to police.

NAUGATUCK, CT β Police seized more than 13 pounds of marijuana and 20 oxycodone hydrochloride pills from a vehicle that fled from an attempted traffic stop on Tuesday, according to officials.
Police tried to stop a BMW 3 series around 4 p.m. on Main Street South in the area of the Salem Bridge for motor vehicle violations, officials said.
The driver fled from officers, who later found the vehicle at a gas station on South Main Street in Waterbury, according to police.

Police said the occupants were gone but, with the use of K-9 Judge, officers found and seized 13 pounds in illegal marijuana and 20 oxycodone hydrochloride pills from the vehicle.
βThe investigation is ongoing and Naugatuck Police anticipate arrests to be forthcoming from this incident,β police wrote in a news release. βWe commend our officersβ proactive efforts in curbing illegal drugs in our community, specifically illegally opioids.β
