'The Pan American Nutcracker Suite' Comes to Connecticut
The 2022 holiday season marks the premiere of our holiday tour presenting The Pan American Nutcracker Suite at The Kate.
Connecticut native, Joe McCarthy, is excited to return home this December with his Latin Grammy® award-winning New York Afro Bop Alliance Big Band to premiere the recently released 'The Pan American Nutcracker Suite' on Angelface Records.
The Pan American Nutcracker Suite is a global musical adventure that celebrates and unites the brilliance of Tchaikovsky’s timeless masterpiece, “The Nutcracker Suite", with the beautifully diverse musical traditions of the Americas and beyond. This composition represents multicultural orchestrations and arrangements penned by Joe McCarthy and Vince Norman, presented through the vibrant colorings of an 18-piece jazz ensemble.
