Parking Space Dispute Leads To Assault Charge: Naugatuck Police
The accused reached into the victim's vehicle and tried to grab the victim to pull him out, police said.
NAUGATUCK, CT β A Naugatuck man is accused of assaulting another man over a parking space dispute, police said. On Sept. 23, police responded to Big Y Supermarket located at 85 Bridge Street on a report of two males arguing in the parking lot.
Through the officer's investigation and witness statements, it was found that Stephen A. Ruby, 58, of Maple Hill Road, had assaulted the victim over a parking spot in the lot., police said.
The accused reached into the victim's vehicle and tried to grab the victim to pull him out, police said. The accused also, based on the statement from the victim, punched the victim in the face, police said.

Ruby is charged with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace.
